The RollerVillage Skating Academy is the next step for
children wishing to progress from our recreational Rollerkidz classes.
The academy provides opportunities for young people of
5 and above to receive coaching and compete in rollersport competitions.
Members have the opportunity to access classes and training
in different activities and to access private tuition and practice time.
All coaching is by qualified coaches who are trained and
have been screened for their suitability for working with young people.
The academy is presently applying for Sport England Clubmark,
which is awarded to clubs by National governing bodies when the club is able to demonstrate that it meets the criteria as
to playing programme; safeguarding and protecting children; sports equity, ethics and management. Clubmark is an acknowledgement
that we take these issues seriously and that we are striving to provide a high quality and welcoming enviroment for young
participants in the sport.
